Thanks be to our God for new mercies every morning. It's a beautiful morning, very unusual temperatures for August! Sitting here beside the open window listening to the birds and insects singing God's praises in the morning sun just reminded me of His graciousness. I just wanted to write some notes of encouragement to some who may be struggling with life's pressures and challenges. We were all created to bring God praise, in that we are all alike. But within that parameter, there are differences that make us unique. There is no one else who can do what God has specifically created you to do! You were created to reach specific people in specific ways for God's glory. God has given you unique songs to reach a unique audience at just the precise time. His time. Please keep pressing on in your work for the Lord and do not grow weary. The way can be difficult, frustrating and frightening at times. But you know Jesus is always with you. Philippians 1:9-11 says..."I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ's return. May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation--the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ--for this will bring much glory and praise to God." This is my prayer for you, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
