biography
"I grew up around music. My mother and grandfather both played guitar. I remember attending music parties as a young girl. I was fascinated with the people, the music, and the joy it seemed to bring. From the moment I expressed a desire to play the guitar, I had two instant and faithful teachers! I thank God for the time they took to share their gift with me.

That was a long time ago and life has had many crazy turns and twists. And like many of you, I have had my share. As a child, I learned about Jesus through attending church. But as a young adult, I went my own way. After years of searching for something to fill the hole in my heart, by the grace of God, I found my way (or rather He rescued me) to His throne of mercy.

It took me awhile to come to grips with what grace and mercy meant. I will never forget that moment when it became clear to me; that it was not just for other people, it was for me, too. Since that life-changing moment, I have had an unquenchable desire to share this same message of mercy and forgiveness with others. God has given me the ability to convey this message through music.

I love to see people reconciled to Christ (II Cor. 5:17-20.) Just remembering what He did for me makes me all the more passionate about helping others come into a relationship with Him.

Since first serving on the worship team at Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Rolla, MO, I have had many wonderful opportunities in ministry. In addition to playing for retreats and small groups, coffeehouses and various other venues, I have served as worship leader at InJoy Christian Fellowship in Bourbon, MO. Currently I have the honor of leading worship each Friday evening at Fort Good Shepherd Ranch in Cuba, MO and assisting on the worship team at Sullivan Christian Church.

Looking back, I could never have imagined that God would allow me such an honor as to be a songwriter and worship leader. Yet that is what He has called me to do. My daily prayer is that God will use this life to make an eternal difference in the lives of others according to His glory and His purposes.
