"The group, Harbinger consists of three individuals, Laura McReynolds Hickham, Marcy Crosby and Dave Schaller. Dave and Marcy have enjoyed singing together at church for several years, but it didn’t all gel until Laura joined choir. The three of them became an official "group" October 2003 when the Spirit’s prompting led them to form Harbinger. They occasionally have the privilege of leading worship together at St. John Lutheran in Ellisville, Missouri, their home church. Their diverse musical backgrounds and tastes have resulted in an eclectic mix. It’s all sung with hearts of praise for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is the reason for the formation of Harbinger and the focus of their work. The spreading of the Gospel is Harbinger's assignment as followers of Christ and singing about His offer of salvation to anyone who would listen is their honor and their joy.
