Well, if you keep up with my other blog, you know that I'm also a minister. My wife and I have been looking for a church at the same time I've been looking for a new regularly gigging band. Well, I think I have the answer to both now. The house church I've been leading for not quite the past year and a half has always had a strong emphasis on international relief work. It seems that is going to be our new focus, in that we are likely going to transform into an organization for that purpose, and be under the umbrella of another young church called The Oasis.

Wow! This was an exceptional week of gigging. On Sunday I had a great time worshiping with the folks at Dorsett Village Church in Maryland Heights, MO. Their music director called me up on Thursday evening and asked if I could sit in with them. This is my second time playing with their band. There was a guest drummer as well. Cool stuff. | Lots of shows coming up. There's a few possibly exciting things in the works. Also I'm looking forward to play with the Travis Lee Band on September 20th. What can I say? They love Jesus, and they rock! I'm honored to share the stage with them. | |
