christian experimental. rock/hiphop/electronic/praise/worship mix!
I play drums and perc and mess around with reasons4. I have TONS of raps/poetry and praise and worship songs......i don't sing or rap though :)
I really want to get together with other christian musicians who think OUT OF THE BOX! I don't care if you have a harmonica and violin and want to create a hip hop song with it while someone is singing bluegrass in the background! lol. just as long as we aren't "boxed" in.

i have one guy that is a poet/rapper here in st.louis that is on board...it would be great if this could turn out to become a band eventually. all and i do mean all instruments are welcome. turntables/violin/dulcimer/xylophone/loops/keyboard/djembe/harmonica/....whatever. as long as we get creative and are able to exault Christ in worship.

influences....david crowder/family force 5/flame/lecrae/lampmode recordings/humblebeast/propaganda "xperiment"(producer from humble beast) chris tomlin/evanescence...etc...

Also, we are looking for a girl singer with an "evanescence...ish" sound.
one last thing......a real turntablist(producer) would be awesome..
Can't wait to see where this goes. should be fun. Christ always and forever

Re: christian experimental. rock/hiphop/electronic/praise/worship mix!
I like your direction. I am a female vocalist also interested in experimenting with hip hop, praise and worship, and rock influences to create something bold, catchy, fun, and glorifying to God. (My favorite example of this is Group 1 Crew.) I'd like to know if you're still in need of vocals. I graduate from college in May and then hope to get involved with inner-city missions, unless the door to a music career opens. I toured with Harvest Ministry Team's summer team, singing backup and lead at church camps for eight weeks, in 2009. In 2010, I volunteered to be lead vocals and music coordinator for a church youth band in my hometown and did that for one and a half years. In summer 2011, I traveled again with Harvest, this time singing more lead. I also have friends who play, and if this is a sturdy lead and if you can hold out til the end of May, I might be able to get a bassist(close friend) on board, too. God bless.
